Oh, god. How long has it been? 6 MONTHS! Damn. And what did I do in all this time ? A LOT.
First , I made an Instagram account. Now all my creative stuff isn’t just on a random blog nobody cares to read but also on a platform which people actually use. All my friends are on Instagram so why not?

First , I have started game development. For real. I have an idea. I am implementing it slowly. Too slowly perhaps, but it’s gonna be out some day. I am making all the assets from scratch, myself. It’s not supposed to be absolutely disruptive and novel, but I am hoping that at the very least it will make you think. I’m not spoiling it though! Not a chance.
Second , CloudClock is DONE. Like just DONE. It just works. My dream of an alarm going off on three different phones all at once has been fulfilled. Seeing it with my own eyes was such a euphoric feeling. But I had to sacrifice cross-platform support for it to work as reliably as it does. It’s just an Android Kotlin Native app right now. Plus , I cannot put it on Play Store, because I never thought about the financial implications of doing that. I’m using Supabase’s free tier right now , but that won’t work if there are like thousands of users. Real users. I can always go the evil route of putting ads in my app, but I don’t want to do that.
Next , lets talk about some other cool stuff I made. OXY BARS! This stuff is super cool as hell. So as a Linux user , I love putting cool stuff right on my desktop. For example , an audio visualizer! So I went to the KDE Widget Store and started searching for a widget like that. Except… There was a problem. The widget description said something along the lines of “This is not a real spectrum analyzer. It just pretends to be”. I just could not accept that. So what did I do? MADE MY OWN SPECTRUM VISUALIZER. And I almost went insane doing that. I literally played sine waves of various frequencies on my phone just to see if it’s doing its job correctly. And so far it has only worked on my machine. So I am kind of clueless right now on how I would fix that because to be honest , It’s just plain Rust code. And all the libraries I am using are supposed to be cross-platform. But I have not given up yet.
So yeah , I’m doing great! And this blog is not dead!
Until next time folks!
PS: Forgot to say Happy New Year to you all. So Happy New Year to you all :)
